Will and Kiya are the founders of WilKi Homes, LLC. William (Will) Smith and LaKiya (Ki) Carter-Smith, are a husband-and-wife team that share a love for real estate and helping others. Together with their passion for real estate and a savvy business sense, this impressive real estate development team has embraced the Atlanta market.  They have a mission to redevelop communities, redesign homes and build custom homes with amazing touches you won’t believe.

William (Will) was born in a small town in Alabama where his grandfather built a real estate legacy for his family.  Will’s grandfather acquired more than 30 properties and hundreds of acres of land in his lifetime. Will’s father manages the properties to this day. Spending countless Saturdays with his grandfather working on properties, Will was instilled with entrepreneurial real estate fire.  After college graduation, he moved to Atlanta and began a career as an accountant. Always the consummate businessman, he noticed local opportunities.  With an investment from his grandfather, Will started a small real estate company acquiring properties in the Atlanta market.

LaKiya (Kiya) grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where her father was a general contractor who designed and built countless spaces for his customers and transforming their houses into exceptional homes.  Like her father, Kiya is bred with a desire to help others.   She moved to Atlanta helping others in human resources and recruiting.  With aspirations for more, Kiya began classes to become a real estate agent.  Now, a formidable realtor with a keen eye for design, she has grown into her true ambitions and excels in assisting people to buy, sell and design their homes.

WilKi Homes has over 20 years of experience working in real estate.

We offer custom home building with our client’s lives in mind.  In addition, we provide real estate services to purchase the land and pre-site evaluation of the land prior to purchase.

 Yes, we are licensed and insured.

Step by step, WilKi Homes walks with you through the process to building your home…your way!  From site planning to budgeting and financing, we stand by you all the way through design and construction of your your dream home.

We understand that sometimes people have a change of heart about a specific layout or design detail.  We try to help you stay focused and withing the budget you set.  We also try to come up with solutions tailored to your budget.  More importantly, we listen to our clients and depending upon the finance option we can execute change orders to help bridget the gap between previous choices and the right now decision.

A preliminary estimate usually takes about 7 to 14 days.  The exact estimate and detailed budget takes place once the commitment to build is in place and can take up to 45 days depending on the design complexity of your custom build plan.  During that time period, several questionnaires, Zoom meetings and visits to the design showrooms take place.

You can easily make changes to the design plans of your home before it is framed.  After that, changes can be very expensive.  Because our clients are involved in the build process every step of the way, we get your input to ensure you have an understanding of exactly what you want in your home.
